Free Services

There are numerous advocates that will provide veteran claim support, generally free of charge.  Veteran service organizations (VSOs), many of which are private, non-profit groups that advocate on behalf of veterans, are the most common.  The DAV, American Legion, Purple Heart, and VFW are just a few examples of VSOs.    

The VA provides a tool to locate these veteran service organizations in your area.  Please visit https://www.benefits.va.gov/vso/ or https://www.benefits.va.gov/vso/varo.asp for a list of organizations in your area.
